Hello and welcome!
In my experience life can be hard. It is unpredictable, ever-changing, and often filled with pain. But I've learned in my professional and personal life that within each of us is the ability to work with and through the pains of life and even, find beauty.
I am so glad you are here!
It takes courage to begin or continue therapy. To let a stranger into what is vulnerable. If you are willing, I’d be honored to join you on your journey towards navigating your nervous system, your story, and experiences. Therapy looks different for everyone. With me, it can often look like sharing space - discussing and feeling through what we know about ourselves and what we’re still figuring out. Sitting with experiences of “anxiety”, “depression”, “worthlessness”, “loneliness”, “stuckness”, “grief”, “confusion”, “anger”, "shame"...etc to find our way to more calm, clarity, confidence, and even hope.
Therapeutic Approach:
I’ve learned therapy is a two way street. This often looks like collaborating together.
I help my clients learn and practice being fully in the moment. Our body’s ability to notice and process the world around us in safety can be beautiful and transformative. This often takes time and can be hard because of the stressors of life and the traumas we've experienced. This is why we do it together.
“Everyone is a bit scared, “said the horse.” “But we are less scared together.” - Charlie Mackey
Although you may be stepping into my office, you and I together are very much stepping into your life. I do not take this lightly. I am passionate about creating a safe space for the expressions of - you.
I aim to help my clients through compassion and curiosity - slow down and be curious with themselves and the world around them. We notice what might be going on in your internal space (mind and body) that is affecting your external spaces (behaviors and relationships).
