Healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls your life.

Individual Therapy

Life can be such a precious journey experience of  connection, learning, and love. It is precious, and yet we all face  challenges and setbacks along the way. When faced with these challenges, it’s important that we find someone who can help us manage pain and difficulty, discover meaning, and find pathways to personal growth.

Anyone can benefit from individual therapy. Individual therapy is regarded as one of the highest levels of treatment for mental, emotional, and behavioral issues. A wide range of therapeutic approaches exist, but the ultimate goal of all treatments and therapies is to help the client reach their goals and improve their quality of life. It is also an effective avenue to gain insight into the way you uniquely operate.

During your first session, you can anticipate spending some time talking about your motivations for seeking therapy and your treatment objectives. Your therapist will ask you questions regarding your current symptoms, such as any feelings of anxiety or depression, as well as any current or previous medical conditions or medications you are taking. The first session is really for assessment:l it gives you the chance to get to know your therapist and learn about their method of treatment in addition to talking about why you're seeking therapy.

After your initial meeting, sessions will be around 50 minutes in length either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. You and your therapist will spend each session working towards your treatment goals whatever they may be.

Many people may face similar issues, but no two people experience an issue in the same way. Ultimately, the type of therapy you receive depends on what you are facing and what you want to work on. We know that having a positive bond (?) with your therapist leads to better outcomes, so here at Cultivate, we have over 20 therapists in order to optimally match you with the best therapist for   your particular personality and needs.
