Hello! I am so glad you are here.

As an APCC, my goal is to walk alongside you as a guide and companion on your journey. Seeking therapy can feel like a big first step, and you may not know exactly what to expect or exactly why you are here. Together, we will discover insights and new perspectives that help support your goals and help you create a meaningful, thriving life.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, grounded in the belief that each individual is the expert on their own experience. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based approaches to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors. I believe that many of the patterns we develop serve an important purpose and can be understood with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. Together, we explore the experiences that have shaped you, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

I specialize in perinatal mental health, supporting women through the emotional and psychological transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood. My goal is to provide an inviting space that allows you to navigate the many shifts and adjustments that happen during this phase of your life. This season can feel isolating and lonely at times- I am passionate about helping women feel supported and empowered through this transformative experience.

In addition, I have experience working with teens, children, and individuals facing challenges related to grief, life stage transitions, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.

As we work together, my mission is to help you feel supported and empowered so that we can cultivate greater healing, connection, and wholeness.

Ashley sees clients at both the University Heights and La Mesa locations.
