Hi, I’m so happy you’re here!

I believe that healing is deeply rooted in the quality of our relationships—whether with ourselves, others, or the world around us. As your therapist, my goal is to make our relationship a secure and nurturing space for you to explore and practice new ways of connecting with these different aspects of your life. I strive to be my most
authentic, honest, and present self in and out of my sessions, and I encourage you to embrace the same authenticity and presence (which I acknowledge can be so tough in a world filled with many distractions!).

I’ve always been intrigued by how people come to make sense of their lives and themselves, and I thoroughly enjoy exploring this with my clients. This exploration might involve reflecting on your childhood, or delving into various facets of your identity, such as gender, sexuality, or cultural background. My training in narrative therapy emphasizes the role of people as storytellers. We all create stories about ourselves and the world around us based on the information we have at the time. My aim isn’t to judge whether a particular story is right or wrong. Rather, it is to help you evaluate whether this story is benefiting you and those you care about, and if not, how you might approach it in a more constructive way.

I have a diverse background in mental health, having worked at a community mental health center with both individuals and couples. Additionally, I have experience providing counseling at a school-based site, where I supported students and their families using a blend of talk and art therapy. I am particularly passionate about working with clients who identify as queer and/or neurodiverse, as well as individuals navigating religious trauma. Outside of work, I enjoy drawing, going to concerts, and rock climbing. I would love to get to know you better and learn how I can support you!
