Hello there!

My name is Victoria, and the core of my work is the belief that therapy can be a transformative space to explore the relationships in our lives, especially the one with ourselves. However, relationships can feel daunting when we don’t have the right tools to manage them, and I am passionate about helping you obtain the insights that will help you connect better with yourself and those around you.

The relationships we form and nurture are at the center of our lives. I became a therapist because I believe that with a safe and comforting environment, therapy can help us interact with ourselves and our loved ones in healthier and more compassionate ways. I feel incredibly privileged to help my clients cultivate more fulfilling, joyful and nurturing relationships - which in turn helps them lead happier and healthier lives.

Counseling Style

My counseling style is nonjudgmental, compassionate, and multicultural. Every person’s culture, background, and roots is formative to who they are and how they show up in therapy. I work to provide a safe and trusting environment so that you are able to foster growth and change. I strive to provide a warm and compassionate space where you are able to explore and express your feelings and experiences without judgment. I work through a psychodynamic approach to help you explore and discover your unconscious mind, to guide you in gaining better insights into your patterns of thought and behavior to become more empowered in your relationships and choices.

As a relationship therapist, I help couples improve communication; increase intimacy, respect and affection. With my Gottman Level 2 training, I provide couples with tools to communicate better with their partners and provide greater opportunity for deeper connection. I find relationship work to be some of the most sacred and transformative work for clients. I am honored to walk alongside couples as they build and foster their relationships.

My ares of focus include couples work, and relationships seeking healing and repair after affairs or betrayals. I also work with individuals, specifically those between the ages of 20 and 40 navigating life transitions (such as loss, adjusting to college or graduation, break ups, and career change). I have experience working with college students as a student affairs professional and have brought that knowledge and expertise into my work with clients navigating their college experience or post-graduation transition.
