Welcome! I am so glad you’re here. Finding a therapist can be intimidating, and it takes an incredible amount of courage to ask for support. You are not alone in this process. One of the first things I can do is help you figure out if I might be a good fit for your needs.

We are always telling stories. Sometimes these stories can be painful and even harmful. I work with people who experience stress and anxiety from being stuck in the same old stories. Using Narrative therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS), we can work together to rewrite these stories so that they focus on your strengths and values. I also work with people who feel trapped by stories others have told about them. These stories can feel like immense burdens we are forced to carry around for years. They may cause us to experience big emotions–grief, anger, fear. Together, we can find ways to change your relationships with these burdens in order to finally release them.

Therapy may sound overwhelming and scary, but it can also be beautiful and freeing. I am here to walk alongside you as you engage in these hard conversations with yourself or your loved ones. I am committed to showing up to each of our sessions with compassion and without judgment. My hope is that the relationship we build together allows you to explore the stories in your life in new ways so that you have a clearer understanding of who you are and who you want to be.

If you have more questions about my approach, send me an email and I would be happy to schedule a time to chat with you!
