Hi! I’m Kaila, and I’m so excited you’re here!

We’ve all had those moments where we have been overwhelmed and felt like we were just getting run over by life. Let’s be honest, being human can be hard but it can also have some beautiful moments too. I believe that every person, through the good and bad, has developed survival skills to make it as far as they have. I believe that we have the resilience in us to move forward even if it doesn’t feel like it at the moment. And through empathy, sensitivity, and unconditional positive regard I am honored to hold your story with you. Starting therapy can carry all the emotions, but ultimately I believe it takes courage - courage to trust someone with the most vulnerable parts of who we are. If you are willing to start, I would be honored to join you in the process of this therapeutic journey, honored to build a collaborative relationship with you, honored to hold space for you, and honored to sit presently in the comfortable and uncomfortable moments of all that this journey has to offer.

I believe in the power of relationships, that they have the ability to teach us both hard truths and beautiful lessons. When working together, I hope to not just focus on the relationships that we hold with others but also on the relationship that we have with ourselves. When we as humans allow ourselves to be vulnerable and to be seen, as scary as it is, we allow room for others to understand us. I believe that in therapy, your story can be heard and we can work to continue that story in a direction that makes you feel whole and at peace.

I am passionate about creating a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported. A client-centered approach where through the use of coping skills, communication, emotional identification and regulation, awareness of the body, mindfulness, discussion and navigation of life stressors, triggers, and traumas we can journey together through all that could be stopping you from being your most authentic self - not only for you but for your relationships. I work to create a space that is yours, and I will meet you wherever you are in that space. Whether that is in the mess and chaos or on mountaintops and high points, I am here for you. I strive to hold a space for you in all the moments, and in that space hold compassion for every client no matter what the story or situation is.

I am honored and excited to journey alongside people of all ages and stages of life. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who feel led to navigate the unknown, who are willing to dig deeper and discover the depths of who they are and what has led them there. I am passionate about the work that we do, whatever form it may come in. If you are looking to start this journey, I am excited to support you. This journey can have twists and turns, low points and high points, but I would be honored to partner with you in navigating all that it carries.
